Age-appropriate – Separate classes are held for 2, 3, 4, and 5 year olds. We promote whole-child development and foster physical, social and creative abilities as well as academic skills. There are daily opportunities to participate in outdoor play, group games, arts and crafts, dramatic play, and manipulative toys. Our integrated three-year course of instruction adds to previously introduced skills and concepts at each age level as children’s cognitive abilities develop.

Reading readiness – Teaching methods include both phonics and sight vocabulary. Kindergarten children learn to recognize common words. Letter and sound recognition is introduced starting with the 3 year olds. Handwriting practice is added in the 4 year old class.
Math readiness – Counting, shapes, comparisons and calendar skills are reinforced daily for all age groups. Addition and subtraction are introduced at the Kindergarten level.
Science and social studies – We cover units on animals, weather, self-concept, health, and community helpers.
Computer enrichment – Computers are in each classroom and supplement instruction in all curriculum areas.
