Imani House P.S 282 After School Program

This is an enrichment program for children in grades Pre-K – 6 that fosters social emotional academic and physical development through tutoring and homework assistance performance arts athletics and more. Other activities include martial arts fencing dance (African tap etc.); building self-confidence respect and leadership; field trips critical thinking inter-group understanding tutoring parent workshops and other. It serves 170-250 elementary children each year and operates out of P.S. 282 in Park Slope Brooklyn. Recently we created limited paid slots in the program to raise funds while allowing low-income parents to benefit from an excellent program for their children; paying a fraction of what childcare usually costs. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
