The 21st CCLC program helps students meet state and local
standards in core academic subjects such as reading and math;
offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can
complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and
other educational services to the families of participating children.
Students are given professional instruction from certified teachers
during the academic session of the program. The Ticket-to-Read
program for ELA and the Carnegie program for Math are two of the
programs that students access frequently to improve their skill sets
in the content areas. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
