Y Early Childhood Program at St. Paul

As a NAEYC accredited and a 5 STARS provider, we provide children with developmentally appropriate activities in a safe, nurturing, engaging and stimulating environment. We use positive discipline to guide children’s behavior, including active listening, encouragement, reinvolvement/redirection, substitution and modeling. In an effort to prevent or alleviate challenging behaviors, we modify the environment to meet the needs of the group, provide calm down time, and follow through the appropriate and meaningful consequences.
