Kountry Kids Learning Center

Kountry Kids has been in operation since October 1989. The center is privately owned and operated by Darlene Pearce and Linda McElroy who are both certified child care providers. Linda and Darlene opened the center because they were in search of a day care center that would provide a loving learning Christian environment for their own children. Both women felt that there was a need for such a center in the local community.

The philosophy of Kountry Kids is to provide such an environment. This is a place where children are provided with a structured learning environment that is age appropriate. At the same time that the children are taught the basics needed in preparation for moving on to the elementary school they are also taught self discipline and personal responsibility respect and consideration for the rights of others manners and common courtesy and other moral behavior that is in keeping with the Christian tradition
