Welcome to our preschool in Clayton, NC! My name is Jessica Detor and I am the school Director. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Child Development as well as my Level III Administrative credentials. I have worked in the field of education for over ten years, half of these being in education management. Childcare Network strives to create a warm and loving environment for the children, parents, and teachers. It is my pleasure to welcome you and your family into our fun learning center.We offer programs for children starting from six weeks through 12 years of age. Our infant classrooms use a research-based curriculum called Bright Babies, which uses everyday experiences to teach our infants language acquisition, sensory awareness, large and small motor skills, and much more. You will find that our infant teachers spend most of the day on the floor encouraging your infant to learn and explore their environment. Our toddler program through KPA program uses the research-based curriculum, HighReach. This provides the different age groups with a unique balance of standards-based lessons with “learn through play” ideas. Teachers are taught to incorporate a child’s interests into the learning plan by relating to the child, exploring his/her abilities and inspiring further learning. Family connection components are included which are easy to understand and help create the strong home-school connection you will find here. It is my pleasure to work daily with great teachers and have the opportunity to impact so many children and their families. All of us take great pride in being so much more than a day care in this community.
