The Kids R Kids Clayton curriculum was written to meet and exceed state and national standards and the accreditation standards of AdvancED (including SACS CITA, NCA CASI, and other related accrediting organizations) while continuing to promote the traditional philosophy of “when we play, we learn.” Based on clearly defined expectations for child learning and promoting active involvement of children in the learning process, the curriculum provides instructional strategies, innovations, and activities that are based upon research and are reflective of best practice to facilitate achievement for all children. Written for multiple age groups (2 – 2 1/2 years, 2 1/2 years – 3 years, 3 years – 3 1/2 years, preschool, and kindergarten), the curriculum includes experiences that meet children`s individual needs and stimulate learning in all developmental areas; language, cognitive, physical, aesthetic, and social-emotional.
