Kindergarten Preparation Program KPP

The Kindergarten Preparation Program is CCFS~ newest Child Development Program. Funded by First 5, California~s First 5 and Los Angeles School Readiness Initiative, the program was established to improve the school readiness in childdren ages of zero to five years. The program exposes children to classroom experience and offers developmental learning in a family friendly environments in school based or school linked settings. It utilizes collaborative partnerships to offer health and social services as well as parental education and support. These partnerships include, but are not limited to Compton Unified School District, Los Angeles County Library, The City of Compton, Compton Elementary PTA, Compton Community College, South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, and the County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services.
