Safe Haven Child Care Ministry

Kathy Barnes a member of Trinity since 1988 was instrumental in helping us open Safe Haven in 1996. They care for children ages 15 months through ten years old. They are registered with the State Board of Education as a Child Care Ministry. Since opening they have cared for hundreds of children. They are open fifty two week of the year and during the school year they also provide preschool as an included benefit. The preschool uses the A-Beka Curriculum to ensure that every child is receiving age appropriate opportunities to be prepared for kindergarten. They are a member of the Child and Adult Care Food Program which ensures that each child is fed according to state guidelines for nutrition and sanitation.
