Danville YMCA School Age Care

Welcome to the YMCA Child Care program! We are excited that you have chosen to join our program. We promise
to make every effort to ensure your confidence in the safety of your child and his/her enjoyment. The following
parents manual will be your guide in preparing your child for our program. Please take the time to read it
carefully and return all the necessary forms.
The YMCA Child Care program provides school age (5-12) children the opportunity to explore new interests and
develop new skills and relationships in a fun filled value-oriented environment. The goal of the YMCA is to
promote your childs growth in mind, body, and spirit while utilizing the four YMCA character values: Caring,
Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. It is also our goal to instill in our campers a healthy sense of self, others,
and our community. The YMCA is an all-inclusive organization accepting all participants regardless of race, sex, or
religious affiliation.
