Hill Elementary Latchkey

SCHOOL AGE –
The Cardinal’s Nest is the district’s early childhood development center. It offers programs for infants and toddlers preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds and child development classes for kindergarten age children. Latchkey services are provided before and after school at Gates and Hill Elementary schools as well as at the Cardinal’s Nest. Afterschool latchkey is offered at Hahn Intermediate School.
The main objective of the Cardinal’s Nest is to provide a healthy child-centered environment where a child’s social emotional intellectual and physical needs are addressed and met. The total child’s development is considered by staff in planning and providing quality programs and care for children attending the Cardinal’s Nest.

The Cardinal’s Nest is licensed by the State of Michigan and directed by a certified elementary teacher.
The Cardinal’s Nest also houses the Successful Kids = Involved Parents program.
