District #65 Child Care Oakton School

Oakton is the only school in the District that offers three academic “Strands”: General Education (Gen Ed): Two-Way Immersion (TWI), for eligible native Spanish speakers and English-speaking applicants; and the African-Centered Curriculum (ACC), which fosters a culturally rich academic erxperience by teaching through an Afrocentric lens. All strands are open to every Oakton student, with admittance sometimes determined by a lottery system.
