Open Arms Christian Child Development Center

Our belief is that children learn best through their first-hand sensory experiences of feeling, listening, tasting, smelling and observing. Children need to manipulate, experiment, and explore; however, they also need established guidelines, rules, and routines to feel safe and secure. It is our goal to provide a diverse array of materials and learning opportunities along with the protective controls that children need for optimal learning and development. Activities are planned around age-appropriate objectives and units. In addition to the daily classroom routine, planned by both the teacher and the children, our curriculum also includes art, music, foreign language, creative movement and Jesus time.
