Humpty Dumpty Day Nursery

Our Center was established in 1975. In 1987 Virginia Locke came to work at the center as a teacher assistant while obtaining her degree in Developmental Psychology and Sociology at Hofstra University. She took over as director in 1994 and with the help of her exceptional staff she has always maintained throughout the years the center is a success. She is married with a family and has always lived locally. She is very involved with the community and has dedicated her life to all children everywhere. She is a member of the Child Care Council of Suffolk County a lifetime member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and is a member of many local associations. She has lived in this community her whole life and is very familiar with it and everyone in it. This is one of the things that makes Humpty Dumpty Day Nursery School a very comfortable place to be.
