Unity After School Program

Unity Church was the first in the borough of Prospect Park to meet this need. Currently we have 10 enrolled in our before school program and 40 enrolled in our after school program. At the after school program the leaders meet the students at the school and walk them to the program. The children are given a snack and then given time to play before we engage in home work. The kindergarten is housed in the church and 1st grade thru 5th grade are in the ministry center. We are open from 7am til 8:30am and then again from 3pm until 6pm. At any given day there are 5-7 staff workers including the director. We have been a state -licensed program for 2 years and we also accept 4 C’s, a government program helping families with the cost.
