YWCA Kids World at Sing Sing Road School

Welcome to Horseheads Intermediate School home of the Intermediate Iguanas! We are proud to have a wonderful group of students and a caring staff dedicated to helping all students reach their potential and find success in school. One of the goals of our school is to assist our students with the transition between the self-contained classroom in grades kindergarten through 4 to the schedule of switching classes in grades 7 through 12. Students are part of a team of two or three teachers. Our school has a wide range of opportunitities for our students not only in academics but in extra-curricular activities as well. We also have a wonderful character education program focusing on the traits of responsibility respect caring/tolerance and honesty/trustworthiness. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
