The Drop-In Children’s Center provides a multicultural child-centered environment dedicated to the empowerment of children and families.
The mission of DICC is to provide high quality safe full-time short-term and emergency child care to Tompkins County area children ages six weeks to five years.
This service is accessible to people from all economic situations and involves parents and other community members as volunteers to share in the care of the community’s children. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only

The Drop-In Children’s Center is a community of children parents staff members and board members whose purpose is to provide quality affordable child care for ages six weeks to five years old
It is our intention to treat each other and all people with kindness and respect to resolve differences in an honest and responsible way to promote non-violence in action and in speech and to actively develop and promote understanding so as to embrace the diversity of humanity.
