Alexander Elementary Katy YMCA

Alexander Elementary named after longtime KISD teacher and administrator Roosevelt Alexander opened its doors in August 1998. Mr. Alexander was a dedicated educator who devoted the majority of his career to the students of Katy ISD. He can still be seen frequently on the RAE (Roosevelt Alexander Elementary) campus making students smile and signing his autograph on the back of StingRAEs shirts.

The StingRAE staff is a group of committed educators who work tirelessly to ensure that all Alexander students are receiving the best education possible. They are expected to continuously grow as professionals and never stop learning best practices for teaching our precious students. When hiring staff members Principal Kristin Harper looks for positive individuals who have a passion for what they do in childrens lives and inspire their students to be an active part of the learning taking place.
