Yaya-Raha Learning Center

Yaya-Raha Learning Center. We are a small Family Day Care home. We are different than a Day Care Center because we limit the number of children that are enrolled. By staying small we are able to provide the quality care and nurturing atmosphere that your child deserves.

Yaya-Raha Learning Center is not a preschool, but we do offer an informal theme based preschool program. Children participate in a full range of activities such as free play, cooking, outside play, stories, dramatic play, creative art, crafts, music, and much more.

We will have a daily lesson plan to include reading, art, outside play, dramatic play and Bible stories. Each child will work at his/her own pace to allow for maximum learning.

Our room includes centers for learning play. We have an art center, a dress/housekeeping center and we have an area for block and manipulative play. Of course we have a reading center with books, books and more books with story prop boxes that include items for hands on play while reading. We have theme days occasionally such as “camping out”, “pajama day” and “dress as an adult day”.
