Highland offers two options for kindergarten. Children can attend full day kindergarten which is tuition based, or they can attend one of our half day programs; either morning or afternoon. Both programs offer the same curriculum and activities. Parents are encouraged and welcome to help in both classrooms. Each teacher sends home a weekly newsletter to inform parents of classroom activities and school functions.

Our classrooms provide all the fundamentals in the core classes of Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies while granting opportunities to explore and enjoy art, music, technology, and physical education. We provide students with research, computer, and adaptive learning skills that will aid them in their future. Additionally, we offer students the necessary support and challenges when appropriate, like the Reading Ranch and our Gifted and Talented programs.
