Russell Elementary School

Russell Elementary School is a year round inner-city school in South Central Los Angeles serving 1100 students in grades Pre K, K, 1-5. Russell’s student population is 90% Hispanic and 10% African American. The faculty consists of 60 regular classroom teachers, three (3) special education teachers, 11 aides, counselor, Bilingual coordinator and Title I coordinator. Our students also receive the part-time services of a psychologist, speech therapist, nurse, a social worker and a Resource Specialist Teacher.
