Tender Years Cooperative Preschool

Children parents and teachers attend school together learning from one another. Our cooperative preschool offers parents a quality program for their child at a reasonable cost. The parent has the privilege of participating with his/her child in the classroom and of contributing his/her ideas talents and experience to the school. Each child gains the experience and pride of sharing his/her parent. We believe it is important to teach social skills encourage creativity and to develop a positive self-concept. Thus learning at Tender Years is subtle and fun. Preschoolers experience crafts games music dancing cooking science and indoor/outdoor large-motor activities. Field trips are planned along with a variety of special activities. Academics are integrated in social learning throughout the day while being exposed to simple lessons in colors shapes letters sounds numbers science etc.
