Gan Shalom Nursery School / Reconstructionist Synagogue

Gan Shalom our cooperative nursery school offers classes for two three and four year olds Mommy and Me classes and a non-sectarian seven week summer program. Our nurturing environment combines the best of early childhood practices with Jewish holiday and Shabbat experiences. The unique cooperative nature of the program welcomes parents into our classrooms and forges a strong relationship between families and the synagogue. Our cooperative environment encourages parent participation in our classes. How special it is for a child when his or her own parent is in the classroom! Parents and grandparents are also invited to participate in regular synagogue programs.

Each day enthusiastic experienced teachers greet children who are eager to work and play. Our high quality early childhood program provides age appropriate materials and hands on learning experiences in a safe relaxed atmosphere.
