Montessori Academy of Cincinnati

From our Montessori Classrooms to Extended Care to our exciting Summer Camps, all of our programs are designed to encourage growth and learning for your child. Our programs are described in detail below.

Preprimary Program

This program is especially designed for children ages 3-6. It is considered a three-year program which includes two preschool years and the third year, Kindergarten. When a family enters our school at this level, we expect a commitment through the Kindergarten year. Our spacious classrooms are designed to serve 30 children with three teachers, providing an overall ratio of 10:1.

Our two primary goals for the children who enter our Montessori program are to help develop independence and initiative within each child. This is accomplished through the design of the environment, the selection of activities made available to the children and the philosophy of the program.
