Merrick Community nursery School is celebrating 50 years of providing quality preschool education for children in Merrick Bellmore North Merrick North Bellmore Wantagh Freeport and surrounding communities.

Founded in Merrick in 1955 Merrick Community Nursery School is non-profit non-sectarian and interracial. Chartered and registered by the University of the State of New York. We are also licensed by the Office of Children and Family Services.

Many of the teachers at Merrick Community have advanced degrees. They have specialized in early childhood education because they love the process of watching young children learn. They bring to class many years of experience their own enthusiasm for science literature and math and the ability to present age appropriate projects in original and exciting ways. Our teachers continue to learn by regularly attending workshops and conferences. This facility is authorized to administer medications
