The staff at Chestnut Hill in cooperation with students parents and the community shares the responsibility for creating and maintaining a nurturing environment in which all students will “learn to love learning” and become knowledgeable self-reliant cooperative and ethical learners.

Your childs teacher will
provide students with opportunities to learn through activity in small groups on a one-to-one basis
and in a whole group setting. Reading writing math science and social studies are the main areas
of focus for learning. Students will also participate in physical education music Spanish art
computer classes and library activities. The learning opportunities are designed by the teacher to
meet the unique needs of each student in the classroom.
