Learning Through Technology Childcare Academy

L.T.T.C.A is a warm, loving child care academy located in Greater Milwaukee. Our company goes above and beyond what is expected in a typical child care environment. Our expectation is to not only provide excellent care, but to provide the best education possible. Children will encounter premier educational experiences from 6 weeks old through 12 years old.

Studies have shown that children starting kindergarten in Milwaukee are behind in basic fundamental skills as compared to surrounding counties in Wisconsin. Our teachers who will be educating our infants, toddlers and preschoolers will have an Associates Degree or higher.

Our Infants/Toddlers program will focus around the ITERS (Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale) system. This is a designed system that focuses on classroom environment for infants & toddlers. Our preschool program focuses around the ECERS (Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale) system. Assessment tests will be conducted for 2-5 year olds as a part of their enrollment. Our staff will maintain all of the childrens portfolios to keep track of their individual progress. We will conduct parent/teacher conferences along with progress reports semi-annually.

Our school age program for ages 6-12 years is full of excitement. We have excellent amenities for our young dreamers. Our school agers can experience a wide variety of activities. We have before and after school programs. Our staff will be available to assist with homework or school projects. Our school age program includes activities such as pool tables, ice hockey, basketball, ping pong, Xbox Kinect, Nintendo Wii, foosball, darts, puzzles, games, art & crafts, field trips, and much more. The summer program will allow the kids to experience different environments. Starting in 2012, children attending L.T.T.C.A from the ages 11-12 years will take a trip to Walt Disney World during the summer.

L.T.T.C.A will reward three children every year who excel academically and exemplify good behavior at school and child care by giving them a lap top computer.
