Milwaukee Public Schools Department of Early Childhood Education has made school readiness a priority by offering state-licensed early childhood programs in a school environment two and three year old children.

The program provides a structured and balanced environment that prepares preschool children academically and socially for kindergarten. Investing in children early, during the preschool years, is crucial. Learning is cumulative, and children develop skills during their early years that facilitate learning.
