The Mt. Morris After-School Program will strive to provide parents with a safe place in which their child can socialize with peers extend and strengthen their academic skills as well as to strengthen their life skills to develop self-respect hope and change to make an important
contribution to their families community and world. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only

The Mt. Morris After-School Program will operate on the philosophy that young people need to be on pathways through development and engagement pathways that connect experiences and support a coherent journey that provides direction hope achievable dreams and opportunities
for meaningful action. These pathways will provide the opportunities to learn work and contribute in ways that are relevant to themselves and others. We do NOT believe in the Fix It philosophy. We will take each individual child where they are guide them in setting realistic
age-appropriate goals and then provide them with opportunities and support to achieve their goals. In doing this we will at all times be engaging them in real life experiences while still having a good time. We will guide them through leadership skills and being a strong team
member (we can accomplish more with a team than an individual). As a result they will be developing social and emotional skills along with academic achievement. They will learn important life skills how to use their leisure time constructively and most importantly they will
be having fun. The Mt. Morris After-School Program will become the safe place; a lab where they can experiment try out and apply the knowledge and skills they are learning.
