TRANSPORTATION – SCHOOL AGE
We are well into winter snow and cold weather. Just a reminder to send children with warm clothes hats and mittens. We are always looking for extra mittens. If you have some you would like to donate please drop off at the office. all donations will be greatly appreciated. children will go outside for recess if the temperature is above 10 degrees and/or a with a windchill of 1 or above.
Our playground is limited with all the snow. Playground equipment is buried and balls do not work well in the snow. The biggest attraction are the snow hills. Please remind students that “King Of The Hill” is not allowed at school and all snow must be left on the ground NO throwing of snow balls.
We have a number of fun family activities planned for the up coming weeks. We have our Father/Daughter Dance Spring Carnival and our Mother/Son night coming up soon.
Our reading scores are showing that you are reading and working at home. Please keep up the good work. Our data indicates that those who consistently read at home are showing stronger gains. Remember MARCH is reading month and will be upon us in no time!
