Boys and Girls Habor Infant Toddler Program

More than 350 young children (80% of whose families use New York City ACD vouchers) enjoy our year-round day care and preschool programs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am 6:00 pm . We are dedicated to providing high-quality childcare and ongoing evaluation. Infants and toddlers six month to two year olds are given attentive and loving care at the Harbors two nurseries. Our preschool programs for children two and one-half to six years old are well-equipped pleasant safe and stimulating surroundings where there are three instructors in each class and an average class size of 23. Music and movement storytelling reading creative play and trips help prepare our young charges with the emergent literacy and math skills they need to succeed in grade school.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children has accredited all six Harbors preschools; only 8% of all early childhood programs are accredited. N.A.E.Y.C. accreditation is the national mark of quality for Early Childhood programs in child care centers public and private preschools nursery schools Head Start programs and kindergartens.
