Grosvenor Neighborhood House YMCA - Tender Care

The Grosvenor Neighborhood House Y Tender Care Nursery Center provides comprehensive services for children ages 2.6 to 5.
This program follows the curriculum of our very successful West Side YMCA Tender Care program. Tender Care a child care center for children was established in 1986 at the West Side YMCA to provide a flexible child care option for working parents. Each class will be divided into two age groups:
Care Group 1: 2.5 3.5 years old
Care Group 2: 3.5 – 5.5 years old
The Tender Care classrooms will have but not limited to art science library block dramatic play manipulative play and parent/child meeting area. We will distribute a monthly newsletter and weekly lesson plans. We will focus on the social child in preparation for their very structured and formative years of academic learning. The curriculum will also follow their developmentally appropriate ages and social growth.
