Our mission at P.S. 161 is to foster in all of our students the skills that assist them to become independent thinkers problem-solvers and lifelong learners. We provide an environment where children are an integral part of a community and hold themselves and each other to the highest standards of performance. The close-knit atmosphere permits each child parent and staff member to feel safe recognized and respected. This facility is authorized to administer medications
