Chatham School

Chatham has served our diverse community for the past 52 years. Our primary purpose is to provide a safe healthy and nurturing environment for children to develop social emotional cognitive and physical skills. We begin our work by acknowledging that each child is unique in personality and stages of development. Our goal is to give the children the opportunity to express themselves through play music art activities dramatic play housekeeping block building language (books and reading) cooking projects and natural science with the support and guidance of nurturing and loving teachers. Our school was built with children in mind. It is composed of three large well-designed sunny rooms large enough for all activities. Table play materials are easily accessible for children. There are even pint-sized sinks for housekeeping play.
