Duck's Nest - Piedmont

Our first Ducks Nest pre-school opened in June 1984 in Berkeley with 12 enthusiastic young students. Since day one our focus has been to provide an environment to encourage the emotional social and cognitive development of our students.

years of consistent and well-planned expansion have resulted in our notable growth. 1991 was a landmark year as our long-awaited second Ducks Nest location opened in Piedmont. In 2003 we embraced Carol Smiths legacy and took on the Elementary School of Arts & Sciences re-structuring it into a successful pre-school program. Still warm and cozy our schools have carefully maintained and cultivated the original very caring atmosphere we started with.
