Smart Start Meiners Oaks

Smart Start strives to make a difference in the Ojai community by providing high-quality childcare and educational opportunities for Ojai Valley children and families in a fun, safe and loving environment.

We offer half-day and full-day Preschool to children ages two to five. Our students also receive free meals through the CACFP National Food Program. Our goal is to ensure that our children enter kindergarten well preparEducation

Smart Start also provides before- and after-school care for children ages five to twelve years old. Our centers are located on Ojai Unified School District elementary school campuses.

Our teachers are certified by the California Office of Teacher Credentialing. They are continually adding to their skills through classes, workshops and other opportunities for professional development.
