Okemos Kids Club Hiawatha

TRANSPORTATION -
All OKC students attending the Before School program will sign-in with the OKC staff in the B/A classroom in the 5th grade pod. Parents are asked to walk their children into the Before School program classroom. It is early in the morning and the school is often empty and it is often dark outside still between 7:00 AM and 8:55AM. We know from experience that when you assist your child with getting signed-in it helps support them with their comfort level as they begin their busy school day in a very positive fashion.
Please note that the Okemos Food Service Program is offering a Breakfast program at 8:30 AM. I have posted the menu on our Parent Board. OKC students are welcome to bring in breakfast to eat during the Before School program. Please Note: Our classroom is a “peanut free zone”. I am also requesting that when your child enters the room that they please wash their hands at the sink just to make sure that no peanut residue will contaminate the room.
