First Baptist Church of Bayou George Child

At First Baptist Church of Bayou George Childcare we aim to create an environment in which all experiences will build and develop the self-esteem confidence and competence of each child.

We see each child as an individual who has his/her own ideas the ability to make his/her own decision and is responsible for feelings and actions.

We believe that children learn and grow in their own way and best in an environment that is happy and relaxed.

Their days will be planned and predictable cognitively exciting and challenging with the time and freedom to explore. We will also teach the children the Bible to pray and to worship. Our teachers work in partnership with the parent which develops a sense of trust as we gain knowledge about each individual child. Teachers explore and learn with the child. Each teacher will guide and develop each child’s ability to solve problems positively to know that God is in control to make and keep friends and develop respect for themselves and others.

We teach the Wee-Learn curriculum which is Christian based. It’s skilled for Infants-Preschool. We feel Christianity is as important as academics.
