The Early Learning & Development Center, Inc. (ELDC,Inc.) is open year round from 7 am until 6 pm Monday through Friday; except in the cases of inclement weather and federal holidays. The Center enrolls students between the ages of 6 weeks to 13 years. Breakfast is served from 7:45 am until 8:45 am. During 2 hour delays breakfast will not be served. Children that enter the Center after 9 am must have a doctors note.

Inclement Weather Announcement: The Center has a weather related emergency plan that is established to notify parents, employees, and the public of any changes in operations. The Center follows the Baltimore City School System when closing for inclement weather. If the Center is in operation and weather conditions worsen the Center will declare an early dismissal.

Parents Corner: Parents are always welcome to observe or to participate in any Center program. The Center stresses the importance of participation within the Center. Such involvement raises the student’s self – esteem.

School Closings: The Center observes the following holidays each year:

  • New Years Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving (Thurs. & Fri.)
  • Christmas Day
  • MLK – Federal Schedule
