PALS was founded on the belief that if one has a strong, positive self-image, and a belief that learning is fun, that individual will be able to choose their own path in life rather than allowing one to befall them. With these attributes they will be able to acquire the skills necessary to accomplish their dreams.
PALS instills these qualities in each of our students by creating an atmosphere full of love, fun and a lot of praise. We strive to fill each day with fun activities that build self-esteem, moral character, and teach life skills as well as values.
We want to prepare each student to think, reason, produce, be responsible, achieve, excel, communicate, and be happy. We want to challenge their minds. And we want each day to be fun. Through excitement and engagement, children learn without knowing they are learning. They develop a positive sense of self because we at PALS will always help them recognize and exalt their gifts.

Because of the first years of life are so crucial to developing all aspects of a childs intellect. PALS is committed to the development of the whole child. We continually plan and develop new learning activities and strategies to meet the needs and interests of each child, and strive to make learning fun by providing a stimulating, risk-free, child-centered environment. Two basic questions we ask about any activity are, Is it fun? and, Does it build the childs self-esteem?
Praise and accumulated successes promote a happy environment where children can safely flourish. Therefore, we focus on teaching lifeskills through positive reinforcement, accompanied with a strong set of values so that we are actively developing the whole child.
Teachers track each students progress across several areas using personal portfolios to gather records, work samples, and developmental milestones.
