Shalom Day Care Center

Shalom Day Care provides a warm accepting environment where the children may grow at their own pace develop their own identity and experience relationships with both children and adults.

Since children learn best through repeated hands-on experiences i.e. touching seeing smelling tasting exploring and experimenting our goal is to provide this multi-sensory environment for them by integrating mathematics science language arts and social studies into their daily play activities. Every attempt is made to know the children as individuals. We use observation and interaction to assess their needs and plan for their growth within the program.

Our educational and emotional goals are to aid children in developing a positive self-image self-discipline and confidence. This is done by providing them with opportunities for success and personal achievement. Our classroom environment will help develop the childs sense of order responsibility self-motivation creativity and curiosity which are prerequisites for a successful and happy life. This facility is authorized to administer medications
