Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School is a Title 1 School located on South 39 th Street in Richmond California . We have 370 ethnically diverse wonderful students and a staff of 50 professional and caring teachers and Teacher Aides. Our school was built originally as Pullman School in 1908. It changed to Martin Luther King School in 1968. The campus is composed of three separate buildings and is scheduled for a $15 million renewal which will be completed by 2009. We have a regular education program for children in Kindergarten to grade 5 a state preschool and 2 SH Autistic classes on campus.
