At Kids of the Crown CDC we love babies! Our infants are rocked, have stories, played with, listen to music, and receive ongoing teacher interaction throughout the day. Because of their special needs, babies stay on their own individual schedules until they can adjust to child-care and a routine is established for their care.
Our infant program is growing and we have current space available… Our ratios for this classroom is 4 children to 1 teacher and our maximum is 8 children with two teachers. The classrooms are cozy and bright, and we always accommodate to the needs of nursing mothers.Want more information?
Welcome to our Family!
We are delighted to have you with us! Kids of the Crown is like a family. There are big people and small people. People love each other and take care of each other. People do interesting things together in a cooperative manner. Our family likes to be together, play together, worship together and share with each other.
That’s why “outsiders” who visit and observe at Kids of the Crown often remark that the school is like a loving family. There is a special “oneness” in a Lutheran school that goes beyond what is ordinarily expected at a school. You are now a member of our family, since you have enrolled your child(ren) at Kids of the Crown.
Just as there are many kinds of families, there are many kinds of Lutheran schools. Some Lutheran schools serve only very young children, some only teenagers, some only elementary grade children, and some serve children of all these levels. Some Lutheran schools are located in central cities, some in rural areas, some in small towns and some in suburbia. There are Lutheran schools in every one of our 50 states. Lutheran schools have existed in our country for more than 300 years. We have a long and proud heritage of providing excellent Christian education.
More than 260,000 children and their families are served by more than 2,100 Lutheran schools today—the largest Protestant school system in our country. Nearly half of our students are not Lutheran. We welcome people of all beliefs and cultures in our family.
As part of our Kids of the Crown family you will be treated with love, informed and given the opportunity to meet other members of the family. You are welcome to worship with us both at school worship and in congregational worship services. Your children will grow intellectually, socially, spiritually, physically and emotionally.
Since you are a part of our family, you will also have responsibilities. We expect that you will support classroom learning by discussing it with your children and assisting with follow-up work at home. We expect that you will participate in school activities to demonstrate your support for your children’s learning. We expect that fees will be paid promptly and communications from school will be read. We promise to read your communications and respond to your questions and concerns promptly.
You are welcome to join part of a larger family, the family of Christ at Crown of Life. Your child’s teachers are all Christians who will share the Christian faith daily in a special time for religion, in prayers, personal witness and music. God’s Holy Bible tells us that Jesus Christ, true God, was born in Bethlehem, lived a perfect life, died as a punishment for our misdeeds and failures and arose physically from the dead to prove His divinity. By faith in Him we will rise to heaven when we die and live with Him in perfection for eternity. Your child will be taught these divine truths and will probably share them with you. Our reason for existence and Kids of the Crown’s mission is to share our Christian faith.
The Christian family extends beyond our school to all parts of the earth. It includes millions of people of many cultures and races. This family includes all that believe in Jesus Christ. If you are not yet a member, perhaps the Holy Spirit will work faith in your heart and you will be welcomed to this larger family during the year.
Welcome to our family. We accept you as sisters and brothers, uncles and aunts, sons and daughters. We are delighted you have joined us and are eager to show you how much we value our relationship.
