Center in Saint Louis, MO 63130
We are a small early education center with a focus on Jewish education. We accept children from all religious and ethnic backgrounds, ages six weeks through pre-kindergarten. Our small class sizes and low student-teacher ratios allow for each child to receive individualized instruction and attention.
Our facility is specifically designed for young children with an outdoor playground and a large indoor gym facility.
Shaare Zedek Early Childhood Center is proud of its reputation as a warm, nurturing, family style school. When a child’s developmental and self-esteem needs are met in a loving, caring, and relaxed atmosphere, learning can take place and a child can then reach his/her full potential. Our goal for each child is to provide a nurturing environment in order to encourage physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. We believe in the concept of learning through play; a process through which our children acquire knowledge and learn skills about their physical and social worlds. Our fabulous teachers use learning centers to present developmentally appropriate, exciting, and creative curriculum. Learning about friendship, group membership, and communication skills are goals for each and every day. At our school it is important that we maintain a low student-teacher ratio so that our teachers have the time to respond sensitively to each child and his or her needs. Our teachers are chosen not only for their credentials and teaching experience, but also for their warmth, nurturing ways, and understanding of young children. We delight in seeing our students grow and blossom. We accept children from all religious and ethnic backgrounds.
