St. Martins Child Center is a State Accredited Early Childhood Center that is licensed to service ninety-nine children. St. Martins Child Center services children from ages of 6 weeks to the age of 6 years old, with summer programming for older children. Unlike many Early Childhood Centers St. Martins Child Center has a full day kindergarten program that conveniently continues to service 5 year old children with the same extended hours offered in the preschool program. St. Martins Child Center caters to children of any color, socioeconomic background and religion. St. Martins Child Center maintains its integrity and stability in the community and has a reputation of having committed teachers and employees. Rose Harris, Ernestine McGee, Ollie Peebles, Joan Neal, Alberta King-Adams, and Cathy Jenkins have over one hundred and fifteen years of employment at St. Martins Child Center between them. Other staff also provide quality and caring service to the children and families we serve. Presently, the parents of many of the children we serve are alumni of St. Martins themselves. We are proud to say that such strong dedication from our staff members and former students speaks volumes about our commitment to excellence.
