During various play activities children learn the importance of sharing and cooperating with their peers. We encourage the use of crayons scissors manipulative and paint to develop small muscle coordination. We encourage free choice so that your child can develop his/her creativity through experimenting: block building bikes and other outdoor equipment to help your child grow in large muscle development. Children develop emergent literacy skills through books circle time and music. So when a child is busy at play remember he/she is busy learning. Children need not bring home paper in their hands but acquire knowledge in their heads. So ask your child what they played with today.
