The Prospect Elementary School staff has received extensive training in teaching reading skills to students. Through our Reading First program and early literacy instruction we try to ensure that each and every student becomes a successful reader. We believe that by taking a comprehensive school-wide approach to teaching early literacy and reading in conjunction with your efforts at home your child will have a solid foundation for the future.
We also look forward to having contact with you as a vital part of your childs education. Through ongoing two-way communication we are confident that we can solve concerns as partners working to help each student to grow and develop the skills necessary to be good learners and good school citizens.
