The Childrens Village Community is a coming-together of 102 families who are representative of the eclectic quality and diversity of the Bay Area. Nine languages are represented, as are adoptive, gay, lesbian and one or more parent families. An equally diverse staff of childcare professionals partners with families to nurture each childs capacity to love and learn. at the Village, children explore the complexities of their world through creative arts, social interaction, enhanced play and nature studies in our urban garden setting. Our goal is to provide a well rounded, stimulating experience, which will prepare the children in our care for engaged learning through elementary school and beyond. at Childrens Village we are proud to socialize, educate, and inspire 136 young children yearly.
