We believe that participation at The Oaks affords parents rare insights into the emotional and social development of children. The objective is to help the children move toward independence, while in a safe and nurturing environment. Through interaction with one another, as well as adults other than family, the children begin to learn social skills and establish a sense of self-control. Children are guided in the development of good relationships, and are given positive direction rather than negative judgments.
The Oaks has been nurturing children and families since 1947 and we plan to be here for at least another 50 years.
