Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is part of one holy catholic and apostolic church which has existed and will exist until our Lord comes again. Our understanding of ministry is in three parts:
- We are to be concerned for the eternal welfare of people
- We are to be concerned for the temporal welfare of people
- We are to be concerned for the welfare of the earth and its capacity to support life
Accordingly we proclaim for all to hear that God is a God of Grace and Mercy in Jesus Christ and that it is His intention that all human capabilities and all earth resources be used for the common good. Humanity is to develop its gifts and talents so that people are blessed through the use of those gifts and talents. This means that we will wrap the learning of the arts in Gods gracious purposes for all humanity. Therefore

AS part of one holy catholic and apostolic church we believe it is Gods gracious will that all people come to know Him as a God of grace and mercy. This means that whatever is needed to become part of His church He gives. Life with Him now and forever is His gift to us. Thats pure grace! We furthermore believe that it is His gracious purpose that every human capability and all earthly resources work for the common good. This means that we learn we develop and we grow academically so that we might be a blessing now and throughout adult life.
